I am often a soul in need of help and assistance.

As is usual, I do not actually know the rules for a competition which I have entered (!) ie the Blackpool Advanced section.

I know that the rules say 2 aerials are allowed. But ....

1. Does this mean 2 aerials per track (ie what do you do if you get 2 tracks?)?

2. What about when the ladies feet are not in contact with the floor but yet one of them is not above knee level? Would that count as one of the aerials?

3. What if the man's two feet are not in contact with the floor eg he does a small jump. Does that count as one of the aerials allowed?

Not saying of course that I am going to do any aerials....I can't jump that high!

I have just re-read the rules for Blackpool (intermediate) and we are allowed 2 aerials also.

However, it says that an aerial doesn't count if one shouts "Ole" whilst in the air.

I hope this helps.:D

CJ is almost right... see here (http://www.cerocscotland.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7307) for more witty insight...

On your point 2, Ste, the rules say "Air steps will not be allowed; i.e. one foot (of the person being lead) must stay below the waist of their partner."

Which suggests to me that baby-aerials would be allowed...
