Anything worth going to tonight? I seem to have a night of freedom:clap: But, not sure what to do?
What are my choices?
Where is everyone else going?

There isn't much on tonight!
In the absence of a better offer, I would go with Chesham or Kensington Casbah.

The Chimes is a ceroc London venue run on friday night at the old Swedish Church. I think the nearest train station is Edgware Road but don't quote me on it. Check out the website for more details.

A last minute decision landed me up at the Casbah tonight. I had such a lovely time even though i only got there for the last hour. Saw the lovely Cee Cee and had the gorgeous Groovy Dancer on the floor:drool: I saw people there i had forgotten about so it was nice to catch up with all the news over the last year. I even saw Mo (pop idol Mo!) anyone remember her? Oh and whos face is on the Ceroc posters now? Yeah mine (tongue in cheek).

I went to Casbah too. I don't think I saw you.
I haven't been there since about April 2004. It's still steamy and cramped with a suplus of men .
Having not danced in about a month I was very rusty, managing to topple one partner and collide with lots of other people's.
Weird bit of the evening was when a chap came over and said "Thank you" because he'd enjoyed watching me dance.
Lat time I danced at Casbah I was scared becuase everyone there was so much better than me. Tonight, only nearly everyone was better

Well, I had a fantastic time as salsa in Berko on Friday.
Superb class from Gordon and Cheryl, who for my money are amongst the best salsa teachers in the London / Home Counties area.
Lovely set of dances with ZW.
Watching a certain Mr H Temple learning salsa
Extremely friendly crowd - the only time I've been at a salsa venue which is as friendly as a MJ venue, in terms of being asked to dance.
Great music, none of this too-fast stuff but proper salsa romantica.
Lovely floor, and space to use it.
I'd definitely go again.
