Seriously, I like dancing with DJ, because he's NOT predictable - even though, like many guys, he has signature moves, he does tend to throw them together in different ways which means a follower has to pay attention. He gets all cross if you anticipate

Quote from LMC on another thread got me thinking.

Can you could tell the signature move of fellow forumites are?:D

Can followers I dance with tell me what they think my sig move is. etc:innocent:

I will start off by saying I think Dancing Teeth aka Viktor's sig move would be the move where he leads the follower behind him but keeps his hand high above the back of his head and then rotates the woman (It looks like he should dislocate his shoulder) and then leads her around him to the front again.

I don't know the name of it but I can visualise him doing it.

You are not allowed to name your own sig move.

Any takers:flower:

Is that a 'move that made us famous' or a move that we do often?

mooncalfs sig move is the duck, if in doubt just duck under an arm!

spiceneasy, its got to be the first move!

underpar mmm i cant think of one at this very moment.

ChrisA, its the head movement (cant explain it though)

Andreas, his wiggles :really: and we always seem to do the double arm archie spin (I think thats was its called), which I like and not alot of others do!

Wicked blue, the neck break.

Will, ochos (I noticed on monday when hes considering doing ochos, his faces changes:sick: ) and the pretzel/man goes underarm move and the double spin.

PaulF has a shoulder move thing, a bit like an arm jive but not an arm jive:confused: , and when its over we both always laugh. Can connection be a signature move? and having no idea what is next be a signature?

Cant think of any more now and i hope I havent put my foot in it with the above!:innocent:

thanks for the lovely dances yesterday Gadget
 :flower: {I still have no idea } BTW although I sometimes do a 'blues hold', but i wouldn't say I do it often enough to be among my signature moves - I would call it a 'ballroom hold' ;)

Tramp's syg I think is the pull-through.

Silverfox's is the backbreaker (is that the name) The man and lady facing and the lady bends right back so he can have a good look at her boobs popping out of her top.
Simon R does some sort of a cha cha cha thing. Mainly noticeable because of the 'Ch Ch Ch' sound effects that accompany it!
Trampys is the move where he pushes you round him using his foot, or is that just him kicking me?
Under par i really can't think of one for you!! Although i love it when you do drops on me, i feel so safe.:flower:
Will, i agree with Ms Fab, the only guy that can always lead me into an Ocho without me going ' Aargh what am i doing wrong'
David B the dance with no contact.

There's a very old thread about this topic as well somewhere. I'd suggest typing 'comb' and 'Franck' to turn it up

My signature move is a shoulder loop. Always gets a smile from followers who've never seen it before. And, assuming I avoid putting their hand in my armpit, they enjoy it.

These are my impressions....

DavidB - He is behind me leading with just a finger on my shoulder, about the same pressure as a chocolate hobnob.

Kev - Hot Tango ochos and tasty sandwiches.

Under Par - A whoosh into a lean followed by a really really deep dip.

Capt Fantastic - Dips all the way to the floor, Tornado King.

ESG - Ballroom spin that stops immaculately on the break, drop down a little and then continues.

ChrisA - Smooth Manhattans and 'Amir's First Move' TM?.

Andy McGregor - Well led syncopated things, and front to front body ripples.

Spice 'n' Easy - Very well timed Laybacks and Tornados.

Marc - Tag dancing and off the wall playing.

Franck - A very slow comb, with a very wicked smile.

SilverFox - Ballroom spin, or any move that enables him to get a good look at his reflection.

Azande - I forget it all...I think I was hypnotised.

CJ - The pull through.

Sparkles - Lush ballroom spins, and syncopated walks, swishing hair.

Will - Ochos.

I feel like I've counted my blessings here...

MsFab: Wiggles, no, sorry, spins and straight latin moves (ie tango-ish).
ZW: tango-ish moves and long lines.
Tessalicious: CLOSE moves
Foxylady: synchopated foot shuffles.
Lory: head (hair) flicks.

ESG: Well, my Russian is a bit rusty so it is well possible he tried that move on me but I just followed too badly.
