Inspired by the quote game this is slightly different, use the strap line for commercials etc to work out the title

Here's an obvious example in case you don't get it "See the movie that's controversial, sacrilegious, and blasphemous. But if that's not playing, see The Life of Brian."

Here ya go then - most of them can be worked out pretty easily, so no googling please (you're only cheating yourself anyway as there are no prizes)

1 "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... "
2 "Not every gift is a blessing"
3 "A new power is rising"
4 "Whoever wins... We lose."
5 "When he said I do, he never said what he did."
6 "The eighth wonder of the world."
7 "Something bunny is going on..."
8 "The loverliest motion picture of them all!"
9 "A nervous romance."
10 "The mission is a man."
11 "The greatest fairy tale never told."
12 "Never give a saga an even break!"
13 "With the right song and dance, you can get away with murder"
14 "Does for rock and roll what "The Sound of Music" did for hills"
15 "What We Do In Life Echoes In Eternity."
16 "History is about to be rewritten by two guys who can't spell... "
17 "Five Criminals . One Line Up . No Coincidence"
18 "Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free."
19 "Mischief. Mayhem. Soap"
20 "What a Glorious Feeling !"

Must admit, I'm bored enough to have looked those last two up, knowing I wasn't going to work them out - and they're really hard, you sneaky clevedonboy!

Clues then for everybody else

a nervous romance starring a nervous comedian

quote:
Her: Oh, you see an analyst?
Him: Yeah, just for fifteen years.
Her: Fifteen years?
Him: Yeah, I'm gonna give him one more year, and then I'm goin' to Lourdes.

CJ is on the right lines but here's an oft quoted line to put you out of your misery:
1st hero "How many times have I told you to wash your hands after a weekly cross burning?"
2nd Hero "For my next impression, Jesse Owens"

oooh, oooh...

A nervous romance - I'm thinking Analyse This or As Good As It Gets... but neither of those seem quite right...

Inspiration! - It's Something about Mary?

/stream of consciousness, sorry

both films were made in the 70s

He's a very nervous comedian - major part of his original routine

Both films were directed by comic geniuses who worked with Sid Caesar
