You know I don’t know what I'd prefer

One day its global warming and its going to get hotter

The next day you have a report that the back flow of the gulf stream has reduced by 30% and worse scenario temps could drop by 20c

I think the perfect weather

I would like lots of snow when Im in my warm bedroom, I can stand by the window and see it falling on the ground out side . It can snow from now till end of Feb/early March.

However it has to have warm phases. ie when i get in car to go to work i dont want ice on the car or stand at station I don’t want a cold wind. ie It needs to warm up by 20c for 10mins or so.

It can rain in March/April so we have no water shortages. Really heavy rain if im out of the country

We can have a long hot dry summer May-Sep. Lots of rain in oct and then another real winter. Again it can only rain if im out of the country

when it snows all trains run on time :yeah:

I want loads of snow in the Winter so I don't have to go to work. And baking hot 38 degree clear blue sky reliable summers, so I don't have to go abroad.

:yeah:

But not so much snow that I couldn't get to the airport to fly out for my skiing holiday! Even with the snow, there just aren't any decent mountains for long enough runs!

This would suit me fine as I’m happy to enjoy the snow from a distance. Feel no desire to play in it and make stuff out of it though, leave that to people who don’t suffer from Raynaud’s phenomenon.
(If there has already been a thread about it I’d be grateful for the link and I'm happy to learn from anyone who has advice to share)

Good point, wearing several layers, scarves and gloves etc can be uncomfortable in our quest to stay warm, not to mention the fact that it takes so long to get ready to go anywhere.

Then there's the problem of losing clothing in restaurants, coffee shops and dance venues, this is far less of a problem in the Summer when extra clothing isn't a consideration for the journey.

Does anyone else buy three pairs of identical gloves at the same time because like me they know that they are guaranteed to lose one followed by another ...
