I'm having a nostalgic day and have a hankering for an old-fashioned malted milk, preferably one in a metal container with the vertical grooves (silver, blue or purple). Anyone know where I could get one (London or surrounds preferably) ... or is anyone else old enough to know what I'm talking about?

Best I've had is at Ed's Easy Diner. They have several branches around London.

Thanks for this - so that's Dublin, a highway and four places around London to research!

If you'd like some company just let me know - I'm mildly allergic but I think it's worth the agro for a malted milkshake
