Bored ? lack of work in run up to Christmas ? or just lazy.. :) see how many Childrens tv programmes you can name from a few lyrics from their theme songs ...

1 This is 29 Arcacia Road
2 Lets ride, with the family down the street
3 Wait and seeÉwho's on? Find out, stay tuned, ok, lets go!
4 There's a voice that keeps on calling me, down the road that's where I'll always be
5 Bouncing here and there and everywhere, high adventures that's beyond compare
6 Your letter was only the start of it, one letter and now you're a part of it
7 Switch off your TV set and do something less boring instead
8 Sunny day, Sweeping the clouds away
9 You can run with us, weve got everything you need
10 Making good use of the things that we find, things that the everyday folks leave behind
11 He's the strongest, He's the quickest, He's the best
12 Why don't you carry on, with what your doing
13 Here I come to save the day
14 When your world looks kind of weird and you wish that you weren't there
15 Dance you cares away, worry's for another day
16 So if your not at ease with your noboly knees and your fingers are all thumbs
17 You can knock it you can rock it you can go to Timbuktu
18 If your mansion house needs haunting just call
19 Here are the people who would say hello, goodbye, hello, goodbye
20 Down at the bottom of the garden, among the birds and the bees
21 Have you ever, ever felt like this when strange things happen
22 It's a whole lot of fun, prizes to be wo
23 Oh come with me to the rolling see where the weather is calm and still
24 Up above the streets and houses
25 he's the one and only truly original

answers later if anyne cant get them all (some ive not even heard of to be honest)

Please define who's childhood:what:

The only I think I recognise is Dangermouse ... and I would argue thats far too good for kids anyway .... :sorry

TheTramp

Ah. But which number is Dangermouse Gus?? Is it 13?

Steve

Franck

Tough one, especially as I grew up in France!

However, I recognize:

8) Sesame Street

That's it... One or two ring a bell (especially 14 and 19), but can't think what they are...

Note there's a strong connection between #25 and one of N&N's showcase routines...

25. Seem to recall (having looked at it again) that this might be topcat. If that's right, what does that have to do with a N&N routine??

Don't give up the day job Inspector Clouseau...Based on my performance so far, I don't even reach those dizzying heights. More like Cato I imagine. Though, my excuse would be that I was far to busy having a life to watch TV.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Rentaghost: I'm sure it was broadcast over a pretty long period (late 70s to mid 80s?) It was on BBC in the 4-6pm slot of children's programming. Why don't you? also had quite a long run I thought over the same period - presented by kids, with somewhat worthy ideas for entertaining yourself - shown in the mornings during school holidays. Or maybe you're younger than you look?

TheTramp
5th-December-2002, 01:52 AM
Or possibly older?

Perhaps CEROC HQ could use this as a test for prospective teachers?

DS - I'll hold you to that dance next year.

Steve - Kingswood was fun last night. They had guest teachers (Jackie & Mark) from Cardiff. And I finally got to dance to Vem Vet. But I'll leave the final choice of venue to you!

How sad am I?

I didn't read through all the posts and have just spent the last ten mins getting most of the answers.

Just about to post them thinking I was doing a great job then saw that the answers had already been posted.

Just for the record and I'm being totally honest I got 17 of them.

What a mis-spent youth! :really: :sorry

lotsa love Lorna x-x

OOOh well done. That means you win a dance with me too.....wheeeee

wasnt it clever of me to offer something nobody would want as a prize - how selfish am I ?! :D :D

Lorna

Hi DS,

would love a dance with you but I don't know who you are. You will need to let me know the next time you see me. :nice:

lotsa love Lorna x-x

Actualy .. do have memories of Rentaghost ... but it was so banal I'd amanged to banish it form my memory.

Re looks .. OF COURSE I'm younger than I look ... don't you know that some Ceroc teachers have the lines and wrinkles surgically implanted so as we don't make club members jealous of our striking and youthfull good looks. Didn't you know that Franck is only 27!
