Crikey !

A mixture of Shinto and Origami

Now I know what I have been doing wrong all these years.

Did this ever appear on St. Brucie's Generation Game?

Geordieed, a :worthy: to you for bringing this to the world

It's a camera trick! :really:No, it actually works! Amazing. My wardrobe will never be the same again.

And I thought I was the only one sad enough to try it.

Yeah, yeah. And the phone lines were clogged with people who thought they could bend spoons just like Uri Geller... :D

Yeah, yeah. And the phone lines were clogged with people who thought they could bend spoons just like Uri Geller... :DNo, really. It's easier explained without a video. Here's how to do it:

Lay the shirt out face up in front of you with the collar to your right, like in this diagram.

Imagine the fold-line AA'. With the right thumb and forefinger pinch the fabric at B (half way between A and A') so that you are holding both layers of cloth. With the left hand hand pick up the top seam at A and take it over the right hand to the hem at A' which you take (both layers) with the same fingers as A. Lift the shirt and shake. Then lay down to fold the dangling sleeve behind.

Try it!

I would rep you, but I'm "meistered", so have a :worthy: instead.

I'm going to try that tonight, the vid looked very cool. For a particularly sad value of "cool" that is.

With practice, I can now tie my laces in about one third of the time of a conventional knot! That must really make such a difference to his life! :flower:

I'm actually very slow when it comes to tying my shoelaces, but it's only recently that I've discovered why... I'm tying my laces right-handed, but I'm left-handed. :really:

I don't think it's worth the effort, though, to learn how to tie the "Ian's Knot". :)

I shouldn't mock... Apparently I've also been tying an insecure "slip" knot all these years, rather than a secure "reef" knot.

You can tell I was never in the Scouts...

Left over right and under, right over left and under.

Be prepared, and cut your toe nails straight across.

:yeah: Also I nearly always end up with a diagonal knot
