Over 8000 posts!

Another landmark was reached at 3:13pm yesterday - the 8000th post was placed on the forum. Today saw Franck placing his own 800th post.
It took 142 days, 22 hours and 3 minutes for us to generate the first 1000 posts - it only took 8 days 2 hours and 41 minutes to go from 7000 to 8000.

Here's a graph illustrating the dramatic drop in time taken to achieve each 1000 post milestone.

Well thanks for the graph, it does look quite dramatic!
You also forgot that today was also the day our 300th member registered and we averaged over 30,000 page views per week over the last couple of weeks...
It does not seem that long ago that a thread was started with the title 5,000 posts, so roll on 10,000, by your calculations, we should reach that in the next couple of weeks!

Looks as if Franck, Gus and FC account for about 2000 of the posts - but with her new interest it's not surprising FC has been very quiet recently ! :sorry :wink:
