I went to see this guy and his band live last night.

James and the band were excellent  couldn't fault them.

The gig was at 'The Hat Factory' in Luton in a very small basement bar.

Sadly no room for dancing.

After the first set mangaged to talk to him and asked if he would sing 'I'll Walk Away'. Was very pleased when he did halfway through the second set :)

If you get the chance go see them, you won't be dissapointed.

Big  to DD as the one to introduce me to this guy ( aaaages ago), finally got around to buying Kick it Around and Believe What I Say (have resisted for MONTHS because I knew I would play them to death and didn't want to lose the wonder of hearing him out of the blue at a MJ night, but hey what the hell) and Kick especially is SUBLIME!!...my preference being for the sweetness of the Sam Cookey stuff rather than the Ray Charlesy stuff.
Music to be naughty to..... :innocent:

Why is this guy not an enormous star????????
Next London trip will be timed to include a trip to 100 Club !
