Hiya All,

Heres the plan, not sure about the sanity of it....
.... I'll be coming back from London that day.... Ie stop off on way back to bristol at Hammersmith - do a "little" dancing... then the long trek home!....

Never been to a dance there before - I hear it really is good though!...
Is it the likes of Jon Brett DJ'ing?

....um.... anyways same questions as my post about HMS I suppose....

Whats it like?
* Dance wise? (Leroc in the main, or is a mix of other stuff etc?)
* Music Wise? (Fast or slow in the main?)
* People wise?
* Whats the floor like? Fast or "just right"?

I hope you can enlighten me! :nice:
Martin

1) MJ and Swing
2) Swing, Disco and Jive (hardly any nice slow songs but all the more fast Jives ... some people do appear to like that)
3) quite friendly
4) fast

Martin MJ = Modern Jive = ceroc (all one and the same)

MJ??? can I Leroc/Ceroc it? or is it a different beat/style altogether?!?!?!MJ (Modern Jive) is just the "generic" term for Leroc/Ceroc that (hopefully) doesn't offend anybody with allegiances in either camp. Hammersmith is a Ceroc venue, so (barring DJ aberrations), all the music should be Cerocable.

The only other things to say about Hammersmith are:
- It's big. Lots of people, can get a little overcrowded.
- If you're driving, finding a parking space can take a while
- Nice bar, but tends to be a queue...

Lots of people, can get a little overcrowded. Perhaps a little less crowded this time? As many will be heading to hear JB in Walthamstow.

 Good grief, that's so true - why on earth did they schedule these two large events in London on the same night?

Just as well JB, and hence "Kiss Kiss" is in Walthamstow, then!!
