I've been fairly restrained up until now. But can't keep it back any more...

GO WALES!!!

And well done Scotland for their first win in this years competition.

Not sure my nerves can take any more.

PS. Sorry Franck
PPS. Looks like another 2 weeks at least of not shaving then!!

Looks like I've got a quandary now!!

Do I support England tomorrow, cos if they beat Ireland, we'll be top of the championship. Or do I go for Ireland winning, so that we can potentially have a grand slam decider in Cardiff in 3 weeks time?!? :D

Never mind all that, the match of the day was Harlequins winning 17-15 at Bath. The first time we have won down there in years!

Not exactly stylish by Scotland today, but at least it's an improvement on last year.

Ok!! Enough's enough!

Don't anyone mention England, right!!!

... well in the same sentence as Rugby, Lansdowne Road, Ireland, referee, and South African!!!

... at least for the next 3 weeks anyway!! ... I might have recovered by then!!

Besides ..... I really quite like wooden spoons!!! :what:

Uh huh. As Mr. Demon says, that was yesterday. And I imagine that if you don't win it again, in 30 years you'll still be going on about it. Same as the football equivalent....!!

Interestingly, looking at the IRB rankings, you're now down to 6th...

1 (1) New Zealand 90.90

2 (2) Australia 88.58

3 (3) South Africa 85.78

4 (5) Ireland 84.30

5 (4) France 83.27

6 (6) England 82.81

7 (7) Wales 81.43

And should the "unthinkable" happen, and you lose another game (since the win in Sydney, you've lost 9 out of 14 games!), and Wales win in Scotland, then you'll be down to 7th....

I guess that the old adage "You're only as good as your last game" really should apply here!! :D

Erm????

Actually, we're STILL the World Champions. The only reason it's gone quiet is because the English are so gracious in GLORIOUS ALL-CONQUORING VICTORY

Now Swing Low brother!

It will be my humble pleasure to feel like a Welshman or Scot has for decades! :flower:

WORLD CHAMPIONS = ENGLAND

There is no prize nor trophy for being top of the World rankings either.

It is better to be champions once then never at all, even if it was 38 years ago or 2 years ago! IMHO :worthy: :worthy:

PS England are playing cr@p at the moment.

John Inverdale put it quite well on the radio recently when he said that England have at long last mastered peaking for the World Cup!

Well. We'll find out the answer to that at the next World Cup.

Personally, I think that English rugby is in for another 70's/80's period
