John Brett is the master when it come to DJs. If somebody wants to make sure nothing is wrong with the music and everything goes right they call John - the master of "phat".

And, talking of "phat", it is rumoured that John nips out for a quick meal while Nigel is teaching the lesson at Hipsters

My hat is off to this man.

I remember last year when the cast of "The Big Love Show" turned up to the Isle of Wight for rehearsals. It was a Friday night, and Tor and the gang laid down the awesome task that lay ahead of us over the following 3 days. I dare say that few of us slept well that night. :tears:

The next morning we were all at breakfast, bleary eyed and still mesmerized at the taks that lay before us, when all of a sudden, John "Seven Sausage" Brett rocked into the breakfast room (He hadn't been there the night before). There was immediately a tangible sense of relief as it suddenly became clear that we were well equipped for the job.

Would be nice if you spelt his name right Andy - it is Jon (Moderators please help)

But yes have to agree - he should definitely be there - he was the first to put on a dance ball - who remembers the ball gowns etc at those very first Glitter Balls, with the coffee and cake and pianist finishes ahhhhh........... I remember them well ..............

Definitely earns his title :worthy:

........ Maybe JB should have his own hall of fame entry?

as requested:

Jon Brett was the first to prepare and mailshot a list of MJ etc., events

...the first to set up a MJ etc. web site http://www.jivelive.com/

...the first to put on a POSH event with all the trimmings "The Glitter Ball"

...the first DJ to play music for the MJ scene that wasn't all the standard pop stuff - and IMO still is the BEST :worthy:

I have a large "girly" grin on my face at the moment.

Thank you for your kind comments. Very much appreciated at a time when I feel unappreciated.

Thank you.
