I started to compete just under 2 years ago but in relation to aerials am quite ignorant about the rules.

Can anyone help?? Not that I will necessarily use any.

In the Blackpool competition, we have an Air Steps section where 'anything goes'. This year for the first time we will allow 2 Airsteps in the Advanced section, as for Take a Chance, Intermediate and Senior Sections, we do not allow Air steps, our definition of an air step is" one foot (of the person being led) must stay below the waist of the person leading.

Hope this clears up any doubt

Erm...

Do you mean "a move is not classed as an air step provided that at least one of the follower's feet remains below the leader's waist level"?

If not, then I still don't understand

And is that 2 airsteps per track, or per round?
