Has anyone been here recently ?

I told a girl id take her dancing one day and the above is close to where she lives.

She is total beginner but has done a bit of Salsa and seems keen to go.

I havent been to Fulham on a thursday for ages and ages

I go about twice a month and always enjoy myself.

It is great place to take beginners, I took my housemate along and he thoroughly enjoyed it. And if it is the 'correct week', you may even get Asif (great dancer) teaching the beginners consolidation class!

Is the venue still Fulham Town Hall as per the Ceroc UK web site?

I'm down in London Thursday/Friday so might give it a whirl :nice:

HI,
yes I had a good time at Fulham this week too - I had the honour of teaching the main room classes (beginner and intermediate) there! It was the first time I got to meet Will and Kate, which was also really cool.

- for those of you who have not met me - I have now been in London about 8 weeks and teaching as much as I can - please say hi in person when you make it to one of my classes - I have been a Ceroc teacher in Austalia for about 5 years (teaching for Nicky Haslam and CMJ) and now working my way around the UK so please keep an eye out for me when I visit your venues.

So yes, to the gent who started the thread - Fulham is humming along beautifully, great crowd, great music, fab venue, definitely take your friend along.

ANd for those of you Fulham regulars who always come late for freestyle - get yourselves down there early for the intermediate class, cos I am teaching Aussie moves every time I am on, so hopefully something new or interesting for you.

Today being my birthday (yay!) I am 31.. I am teaching at Hammersmith social tonight (social) so please say Hi if you are there.

All the best,
Simon Borland

There is nothing on web site (that I can see) but I heard through the grape vine that this venue is closed this week and next (for preperations and actual election day stuff)

Anyone confirm this ?

I was announced at ISH on Tues and Jive Bar on Weds that for the 5th May only the thursday Fulham session was relocating to the Casbah (South Kensington). No mention of any changes for tonight

Hope that helps

Went the other week. Apart from the fact that it was very busy, I'd say the numbers were about even.
