What other dance forms do you think have had most influence on the development of Modern Jive?

What other dance forms do you think have had most influence on the development of Modern Jive?
Well... of the ones I'm aware of ...(and their sources)
Swing - esp James Hamilton, N&N
Blues - N&N
HipHop - Dan Baines
Salsa - Viktor
Tango - Amir

Agreed although interesting that there are fewer dancers around who are obviously influenced by Dan. But I actually mentioned Dan to some dancers at the weekend and described the inpact his style had when he first 'arrived'.
And what about David & Lily. I think Lily's influence can be seen through the outfits and style of a number of successful female dancers at the moment - almost a ballet/ballroom style ( sorry about the inadequate description Lily). :sick: Smooth, stylish and very elegant.
