Just a breif note to say that offspring number three was welcomed into the world at 15:47 on the 7th of December weighing in at 9lb 6.25oz. The healthy and hairly little simbiant has been named Zack Sirius. He looks like all newborn babies look - like a pink and squishy winston churchill, except with dark hair and dark grey/green eyes. Mother is doing as well as can be expected from having major abdomonal surgery: tender and tired.

(Another small world syndrome - mutual recognition of one of the midwives; danced with her at Ceroc!)

Congratulations . A baby in the house is a wonderful thing...check out the advice from the latest baby guru who says, swaddling swinging and shussing is guaranteed to keep them quiet. Saw it on Richard and Judy...amazing results every time. Wrap up baby tight, turn baby on side slightly in the crook of your arm with baby's head tilted down at a slight dip , swing gently and make a loud shooosh noise in baby's ear...it had a 100% success rate in making them stop crying...apparently it re creates the tight , secure feeling of the womb and the background noise they hear whilst in there. Can't remember his name but they handed him strange crying baby after baby and he made every single one of them stop crying immedietely. All the mothers in the studio were gobsmacked. Only works if they are under three months old apparently...

:flower: thank you all for your kind wishes. :D

...no. There will be no more. Looking for two bricks just now. :what:

..."Zack" - well I had to keep up the unusual name thing, and his brother is Zander; some consistancy. "Sirius" - known that name for a long time (before JKR); brightest star in the sky, also called 'the dog star' (which is why JKR used it I'm sure). :waycool:

...Sleep? I get little enough with the chaos of my life already :tears:

...Great time to have a baby? well I suppose it means there is a good excuse not to put the christmas decorations up early. {bah humbug}
