My very good friend Angelique is moving to Northamptonshire :tears: (more precisely Corby) this weekend and would like to know what's on, dance wise???????? :flower:

Hi Lory,

In terms of Ceroc franchises, your friend is in the land of Ceroc Central (www.ceroccentral.com (http://www.ceroccentral.com)), and faced with a lot of choice :). Ceroc Central has nights at Leicester, Northampton, Daventry, Peterborough, Wellingborough, all of which aren't too far away.

There are a few more venues further out but still within an hour's drive - I tend to dance at Nottngham and Rugby and (when I can get there) Northampton on Tuesdays.

It's easy to go to a weekly class every day from Monday to Thursday if you want to.

I heartily recommend the freestyles at Daventry and there's a Sunday Tea Dance at Kettering on 5 Dec - I've not been for a while but last time I went it was really good.

There are also some Blitz venues (eg. at Coventry) and other independents (eg. Want2Dance at Hinckley).

AFAIK it's the first time Ceroc Central have run an event there, so I have no idea what it will be like. However it's near enough to other venues that I'd expect a good few of the local freestyle crowd to be there.
