After two nights out recently where I did know of any other MJ'ers, its time we identifed our selves. How about a wee badge or pin of the ceroc logo which can be worn. Someting tasteful in black and gold? Then other dancers in the know can pick one another out when at non dance specific nights. C'mon Franck, can you suggest it to the system?
Or is it a bad idea?
If all else fails they'd make great ninja throwing stars. :D

In my experience you spot the other MJers when they have a go at getting a muggle to do MJ with them. Just get one of the people you went with to have a go at doing MJ with you. If there's another MJer there they will spot this and come over. You also need to keep your eyes peeled for people doing attempting MJ or the system falls down.

I've found this works quite well. And it really impresses the muggles you're with when an attractive woman/man appears out of the blue, asks you to dance - and then you clear the floor

.. well, a large space on the floor, anyway

How about:

When we go to muggle do's we just roll up our left trouser leg and keep our shirt half unbuttoned...

Then we could recognise each other NO problem....

This would result in every Mason in the room buying you a drink, you'd be so drunk you wouldn't be able to dance at all!

I thought the whole point of a kilt was that you didn't need to unbutton it?

i dont like it! we could have the ceroc logo! As it is on a tie pin type style (the way the charity badges are)!

Being a corporate bitch, I do think it should be the Ceroc Logo - after all, this is the CEROC Scotland Forum.....

The Ceroc logo could be mounted on Campbell tartan (for me only obviously...family thing and all that...)

G....

I was more thinking of a "I can jive" badge rather than a "I'm a CEROC Scotland Forum Member" badge.

But .... if anyone wants to look into prices, and getting it done professionally ... then check out the following ..... works out at under £1 a badge.

My though was that being a logo we might have to check with Ceroc central before getting anything made?

If someone supports a charity, it might be a good oportunity to make some money for it. Get some made, charge £2 and give £1 to a charity? :)

Not being a 'Cerocer' but just a mere Modern Jiver  , I normally wouldn't be too keen on Ceroc badges.....however, for a great idea like this, I might be persuaded :waycool:

Rep on it's way Lory!
