CAN YOU HELP???

Endemol UK, Specialist Factual Department, are making a documentary called The Common Census which is a major commission for UKTV, due to broadcast at the end of November. The programme is taking a look at Britain in 1954 and comparing it to Britain today. This will be done in a number of ways. We will be commissioning a nationwide poll asking many of the same questions as a Gallup poll from '54. We have indentified detailed diaries from the mass observation archives and will be illustrating those and comparing them with new video diaries that we are filming. We will be interviewing experts in various fields (leisure and lifestyle, working practice etc) to see how Britain has changed, stayed the same and what our expectations are for the future. Finally we are identifying various trends and finding >people to help us illustrate them.

We are looking for actors to take part in reconstructions of extracts from the 1954 diaries.

We need:-
2 middle aged white men (40 - 50yrs)
1 young (20 yrs) black man
1 black man (any age)
1 white woman (mid-20's)

If you think you might be able to help please get in touch, anytime day or night, on 020 8222 4903 or email me on deborah.bloxam@endemoluk.com
