Hi peeps,

I am about to set off for sunny Gloucester for some pants training associated with my pants job...(can you sense an air of unhappiness here  ), and will be there for a month!!!! :tears:  (No offense, England types, it's just that Scotland's fab... )

Needless to say, the only thing to get me through all this will be thoughts of my fantastic missus (  :flower: who'm you all have to look after while I'm darn sarf) and the odd dance class/party night.

So, come on then, thinking caps on....venue's, times and dates please....baring in mind I'm a Ceroc Fundamentalist, give 'us the gen. Oh, and I am willing to travel, as I'll be staying in Staffordshire when I (hopefully  ) get a day off.

James x x

p.s. To all my lovely Perth Posse, never fear, in true Arnie fashion....... I'll Be Back..... Oi!!! No groaning, specially from you Janet!!!

Maybe try asking on http://www.leroc-in-bristol.co.uk, as they sometimes discuss venues up to ooh 30 miles away, i.e. Gloucester. Plus, it has local event/class lists, etc.

Also check out http://www.jazzjiveswing.com/ as they teach in Gloucester -- I love James and Bridgett's classes at MJC.

Well, it's been a few years since I lived in Cheltenham, but they have a regular monday night (http://www.ceroclondon.com/cheltenham.htm) Ceroc class which I always enjoyed, and only spitting distance from Gloucester.

So why is it on the CerocLondon website?

Only just spotted this and you probably have everything well sorted by now but ...

Cheltenham 'Ceroc Nights'; Mondays at 7.45pm, The Pumprooms, Pittville Park.

Gloucester Ceroc, Wednesdays 15, 22, 29 Sept. at 8.10pm, Churchdown Community Centre.

Shan't be there to try and spot you - sciatica, and that's bad.

Let us all know how you got on. Did you get to the Gloucester Freestyle on 4th Sept.? Did you eyeball Thelma !!

... a place called Nailsworth on Weds & ? on Tues - will get try and get contact details 4 u - I've seen the guy around at Rock Botts, etc - but met him DJing at a Sunday Swing dance at Avon Gorge Hotel, Bristol (next one at 10th Oct!!)... asked me if I was a punk in the '70's (I was sort of..) - I think he has a good taste in music so became more int. in swing..:-). Tried the class & it was good!
