I left my umbrella at Hipsters last night...
it's black with a red pattern around the edge, and was left at the back right of the room (if you have your back to the stage). I don't suppose anyone picked it up/handed it in did they?

I guess umbrellas are pretty boring - anyone left anything more interesting at a Ceroc venue over the years...?

Didn't you know that umbrellas have this inbuilt mechanism that, as soon as its been out in the rain then put down whilst owner does her own thing, it p*sses off, never to be seen again! Its just an "umbrella" thing, bit like a man thing really, have a crisis, (like rain when you've just done your hair) and what happens? They p*ss off and leave you to it :rofl:

's more an inconvenience thing than anything - and I can pick it up on Friday if someone has it. If not I'll have to go buy another one, which OK, is only about £10-15, but I'd rather not spend it if I don't have to.

I once left a fleece behind in the main hall at a w/e dance, I remembered about midday the next day and went searching for it. After giving up, I came across this rather odd guy, sitting in the sunshine drinking a cup of tea, and wearing an identical fleece. I said, "that's strange, I've got a fleece identical to that one, but I left it behind last night."
He replied "Yes, this is it, I got locked out of my chalet, so borrowed it."
I guess you had to be there and see his "this is mine now" expression, to realise how odd his response was.
