What with all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the almost unnoticed death last week of a very important person.

Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Cokey", died peacefully at home. He was 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.

They put his left leg in... and then the trouble started.

course this is the best one, not obituary as such but gravestone comment.
Spike Milligan has on his gravestone "I told you I was ill"...classic :)

read it here > http://www.thatsweird.net/news22.shtml

one of his quotes : "When I look back, the fondest memory I have is not really of the Goons. It is of a girl called Julia with enormous breasts."

Billy Connolly has asked his wife (should he die before her, of course  ) to have the following put on his gravestone

"Jesus Christ, is that the time already?"

the alternative to be written in tiny writing in the middle of a HUGE stone.......

"You're standing on my balls"  :flower:
