One of my crew made me laugh with this...

John (White Knuckle ride) drives a Volvo estate and he said of him ...." Strong and reliable, goes on forever, but carries a lot of baggage" !!!

Di (Dangerouscurves) drives a porsche 944 turbo and her car says of her.. "Classic head turner, but you just can't get hold of the parts"

I have a Toyota MR2 t Bar.. what does that say about me i wonder :what:

What does your car say about you then

You don't have to plead with the Bank Manager for a loan to keep the petrol guzzling beastie on the road??

I have a Seat Leon Cupra 1.8 T........used to have a Polo GTI - but the d***ed thing kept breaking down - hated the local dealer big time  and vowed never to get another VW or Audi......

Of course, some of you will know that a Seat is made by VW!! But at least I have a decent dealer! :D

Last car was a Seat Cordoba which I really enjoyed driving. Had a VW Golf and a Fastback before that. But fav car was my first one - a lovely old Beetle ( Bessie). Would love an original Beetle convertible - but not very practical for north east of Scotland !

Inspired by your post, this weekend I have washed and polished my car for the first time in two and a bit years and treated the stone chips.

My car looks a completely different colour now all the dirt has been removed and I can't get over how shiny it is!

Thank you!:flower:

Star silver vauxhall astra dti ....

Hmm, boringly solid, dependable, reliable. But extremely economical.

Needs a kick up the a*se to get going at times but, once there, can keep running forever!

The 'S' is the 1.6i Sporty version. Stiffer sports suspension, nippy engine and big car insurance bills :tears:

Thank you. I am being educated. No - as far as I am aware this one is the 1.26 zetec engine (which is pretty nippy too), on the old model (my mums car - mine is older but the same engine).

If I did own my convertible beetle would that make me a bit classy, though getting on a bit and not as good as the newer models around; likes it slow and should only venture out when it's sunny. Be careful witht the top or it can get very windy
