Hi FL,
Looks like you picked a bad weekend! The only regular Fridays in Edinburgh are by Ruute 66, the next is on the 18th http://www.route66jive.com/
This Saturday, Chalky (CPN Dance Co) has his regular Saturday bash http://www.lerocscotland.com/#
The other Saturday dance is Scott's Ceroc party at Marco's on the last Saturday http://www.cerocnet.co.uk/index1.htm

Dave Ummm. Dave. Aren't you from Dundee? And isn't there a Dundee party on the first Saturday of the month now?!? Just thought that you might have mentioned that one!! Or have they been cancelled???

Well Dundee's a suburb of Edinburgh isn't it?
And yes the Dundee party has been cancelled due to venue problem - now looking for a new one. Seems to be a perennial problem.

Dave Oh. There's a bummer. Will have to re-think Saturday night then.
What happened to the venue?!?

From what I gather from Elaine, they have hiked up the price, and given the modest numbers attending it would be likely to run at a loss at that level.
All we ned is a reasonably priced venue with a great dance floor, cheap bar, good access and parking and a late licence - doesn't seem too much to ask
