Paying pennies for one's own opinion would be interesting - would you ration your opinions or be flagrantly extravagant (assuming you were paying for them but not being paid)? As the system currently is theoretical only, I'd be interested in your opinion Mr Boomer. Has anyone ever actually had to pay for their own opinion? I can think of one theoretical instance.

As expected, DavidB with a clear lead - see, all it takes is consistently sensible posts, something no one else can claim :)

boomer: no you cant but i would have voted for you 30 times. As it is i voted for everyone once - everyone deserves a penny for their thoughts even if that then inspires a 'what a stupid thought' in your own head its still an increase in your own knowledge isnt it ( i.e. thats somethng i WON'T now consider, thanks for the ridiculous suggestion you freak of nature you :) )

Cost you, theoretical or not. Theory doesn't put bread on the table, and with no bread on the table I can't feed poor little Timmy!

Do you offer discounted rates for encyclopaedic quantities to bookworms? I'd prefer published ones - then I know you are not going to change them too quickly for me to keep up . . . vellum bound, hand-signed editions with Timmy mark would do . . .

Obviously some odd people on the forum.........or desperated individuals looking to pay money for nothing........................... at least 5 votes for Franck, DS and Gus .......... presumably the voters weren't actually looking for any kind of sense in the replies :D

Ah, dear Timmy mark, cousin-brother-sister-dad-uncle to Billy bubba, plays a mean banjo...not one of mine though.
