Hi folks,
Thought I'd do a tiny report on the Ceroc & Modern Jive Gala 2004 which we had on Saturday night.
It was a dance concert, mostly ceroc or ceroc hip-hop team routines, (but also some demonstrations of other dance styles like tap, salsa and can-can :drool: ).
The organisation (led by Emily) was fabulous. Everything seemed to run like clockwork and an excellent floor was set up (over the top of the otherwise abysmal floor that some of you might remember from the Ceroc Australia champs).
To start the show they organised a multi-media slideshow with lots of photos from the rehearsals -- the photographers and editor did a fantastic job there.
I was doing four routines (never again!) so I didn't see much of the first act (can't wait for my DVD!), but there was some great stuff in the second act -- a lot of folks have a lot to be proud of.
I believe you could probably order the video/DVD from http://www.ceroc.com.au/gala/ceroc.asp if you wanted to see this stuff yourself .
