It's a little known fact that the once 200m sprint champion of America, Michael Johnson, could run the bend quicker than the straight as one of his legs was fractionally shorter than the other..............

It is amazing how often this piece of utter tosh gets repeated on the internet. Salford University have proved it's rubbish (http://www.acoustics.salford.ac.uk/acoustics_world/duck/duck.htm) , with sound files!

Isn't it great how the Internet fuels myths? This one is based on some old Inuit folklore, apparently. There may be a tendency, but it doesn't really matter anyway because they still have paw handwriting... Eyyy thank yew! :D

No it doesnt. The worlds nuclear weapons are mostly metal tubes in bunkers, what energy are they releasing ?

On average, 100 people choke to death on ball-point pens every year.

where ? that would probably be on the front of the paper !! people killed by pens ? what country is statistically more likely to have a high rate of fatal pen use...Finland ? Norway ? (mon would have told us)

On average people fear spiders more than they do death.

Spiders can be creepy and can possibly bite you, death will come to us all. Im more scared of siders too and i like them :) More people are scared of dying than are scared of death ill think youll find - which isnt the same thing at all :).

95 percent of AMERICANS are recent immigrants - 400 years is pretty recent :)

No wonder theres an obesity problem if they measure pizza by the acre!!! I find Fi is happy with a 12" most days.

I "met" him!!! and all the rest of the BBC team at the World Champs in Paris last summer - INCLUDING my HERO Jonathan Edwards about 2 hours after he retired on the Monday - I swooned.
