ESDS's regular Thursday night Lindy hop classes have now stopped for the Christmas holidays.

The next term will start on Thursday 9th January 2003 with guest teachers Shawn & Debbie Carter from the USA. Shawn & Debbie are renowned smooth style lindy hoppers and previous American Lindy Hop Championships winners.

If you want to try some lindy, this is ideal time as we go back the beginning and teach some lindy fundamentals which we'll build on each week.

There isn't a planned lesson just now. As this is the first one we're going to see how it goes.

But if there are enough people there on the day who would like some tuition then we should be able to hold an impromptu class.

Even if there's not enough people for a class, we'll gladly show folk the basics to get them going.

It's the ESDS workshop weekend this Saturday and Sunday with Cathy and Gilbert from France.

On Saturday there are Balboa workshops and Beginner and Intermediate level in Marco's.

On Sunday, there are Lindy Hop workshops in the Calton Centre.

And a reminder that there is no dance on Saturday night as we're all off to Glenrothes for a VE Day celebration.

And there is no Lindy Hop class this Thursday (5th) as the Calton Centre is being used a Polling Station.
