Right ... the championships (Blackpool, Ceroc, Britroc ... whatever) are approaching. You KNOW inside that you would love to compete ... and as you see the lovebug couple (FC and JB) perform you think .... I want to do that ...BUT ... you have no partner:sad:

Wouldn't it be great if the was some type of internet site where, say, loads of dancers who wanted to meet people regularly visited .... and wouldn't it be even better if some kind owner of such a site could fix up a thread/forum area so that dancers without a partner could meet up with a partner who wanted to do the same kind of thing ... be it competition, cabaret, aerials etc. .... would it be that hard to post your profile and 'needs' and look for a match .....???

Yeah ... never happen .... where would you find such a site with loads of dancers visiting and such a benevolent webmaster... Franck?

Hmmm, just been checking my dance links....

http://www.dance-friends.co.uk doesn't seem to work at the mo.

Nor does http://www.dancelead.com

But http://www.dancers.org does.

I've seen people use Dancers.org to find dance partners before. And there's a fair few UK MJ peeps already on there (including me :flower: )

I was directed to this site when first looking for other MJ dancers in NI last Oct - and found one (since moved to England) who had found another MJer through a salsa class here and these were the two who started up the MJ class. So it is useful!
