Ever been on holiday and longed for a good dance but been unable to as there is no-one around who can ceroc?

Well I get frustrated with that sometimes, so I'm taking the initiative. If anyone is going to be in Ibiza week commencing 19th June, then let me know. (N.B. This is nothing to do with the Ceroc dance holiday going on around that time). Clubbing is so much more fun when you can have the odd proper dance.

That's true for other events too, I was at a Dinner and Dance recently, and didnt seee anyone Cerocing,if I had would it have been inappropriate for me to go over to a strange man sitting with his "woman" and ask for a dance?
How do we know who a ceerocer is if they are not cerocing.....
Should we be wearing a secret signal?
ie. pinnie and trouser leg rolled up to the knee?

Couldn't you have invited someone from the class along as a dance 'escort' ? I know this has happened a few times when a Cerocer has gone to a night out and wanted someone with them to be able to dance :D

Hell no! I was at a conference last year and one of the reps was up dancing with his wife so shy little me went up and asked his wife if it was OK to borrow her man for a dance or two. He turned out to be a good contact in the end!

Last year I was on holiday in Cyprus with a friend who doesn't dance. One evening in the hotel a couple got up to dance, they knew about three ceroc moves, which they repeated over and over again and managed to look so impressive that they cleared the dance floor and got a huge round of applause. .... next time I go away it will be with a dancer!!

I certainly didn't expect no dancing, going away on holiday with 6 other dancers, but last week on our ski holiday, there was NO MUSIC in the chalet! Over 8 days with only our own voices to listen to! The only dancing was a few seconds in the snow (in ski boots) outside a mountain restaurant that played good music. (I bet you're all feeling really sorry for us now!) The only thing that made it bearable was being totally knackered every night due to skiing so hard, so I would say, if no dancing on holiday is bad, no music is even worse!
