Great to see you in here, and I have to agree with you that far too much gossip / chit chat is going on... I probably took my eyes off the ball recently :really: and I see I am going to have to sort everyone out!!!

What I intend to do is to have a permanent OT (Off Topic) thread, where I will (unceremoniously) dump all the personal chit chat that has nothing to do with the current subject. This will allow the perpetrators to carry on their chat while the rest of us can stay on topic! :nice:

Anyway, I hope you can contribute soon and I also look forward to another dance or 3 with you when you come to Scotland or when I am down South :waycool:

Franck.

Nothing sinister about it of course, just a way to keep the Forum easier to navigate and for new faces to join in!
Though looking at the post from the last few days, it might be a full time occupation, so I might have to relax the rules slightly so I can cope!
If you want to help though, try to keep to the topic discussed in the thread, and if you must stray, start a new thread with a meaningful title! :nice:

Franck.

P.S. Amanda, how could I possibly 'dump' you?

Seriously though, my aim is not to censor or even limit the discussions; all subjects and silly chit chat are more than welcome. It is just an attempt to keep the Forum an approachable and fun place to be, just like Ceroc, with clear signals and a willingness to dance (chat?) with anyone old and new faces on the forum!
So keep the cheeky repartie going, we would not have got where we are without it! :nice:

Now - is that a reference to:

a)the tragic mutt discovered by the Esther Rantzen crew in the 70's

or

b)the cornucopia of delights that await at John MacAulay's house?

How Ironic!!

Franck opens a thread relating to Òoff topicÓ posts and Ester Rantzen and her blooming dugs get a mention!! Changing culture - not an enviable task. It is simply human nature to digress every now and again (although the Ceroc Forum does tend to be a haven for irrelevant chatter these days). ItÕs the technological equivalent of Chinese Whispers sometimes. I suppose Mel & Amanda are the worst for it, so I for one would not hold you accountable were you to ban them and suspend their memberships permanently.

Just a suggestion!!

All I was hoping is that instead of having one interminably long thread, we have loads of smaller ones where we can all express ourselves (though I take your point about Mel and Amanda! :really: )

Talking of which, it is a while since we have had a Ceroc fashion thread... Maybe it is time to start one...
