If God were the DJ, then, just as (occasionally) requests get played, prayers would occasionally be answered.

If Life were the dancefloor, it would be a lot easier to make sense of the pain in the context of the pleasure.

And if I were the rhythm, I'd get more breaks.

Have you been to Ashtons recently?
I make a point of playing requests, however, just before the end of last year I put out request forms, hundreds of them, but got only about 6 or 7 back.

You ask me for a track, and If I have it, and it's danceable, I'll make every effort to play it.

As for prayers, well, only those of my girlfriend get answered (I think :blush: sorry, hope :na: )

I think we have to make our request, the DJ/God was going to play/grant it anyway but we can, if we like, say that it was our answer:wink:

Personally, I don't think a MJ DJ should play many requests on a normal night. When I've been to a 'request night' the music has been wrong for just about everyone...
