Uxbridge Ceroc has it's first night at the new venue next Thursday and it's FREE!!!! It would be great to see some forum pals there (yes, we'll be there) to give the new place a good welcome, as it were.

The dance floor is much bigger than at the Middlesex Suite with a much higher ceiling and better ventilation, but still feels quite cosy due to some imaginative painting. And LOADS OF PARKING!! (phew) :na: Helen is still DJ ing (she's one of my favs). I've got a feeing she's making the place a non-smoking venue so smokers can pop outside for a fix!

As a promotion Thursday is free and then half price for the rest of the month. All those interested get your butts down there. New address is:

The Heathrow Club
Printing House Lane
Hayes, Middlesex
UB3 1AR

or check out the website - www.uxbridgeceroc.co.uk

Good luck Helen, and keep up the good work.

Oh yes, and the gorgeous Bex is teaching!

Last frebbie around here was when Windsor ceroc moved back from Slough

Windsor was free last week, somewhat more recent than the move back from Slough.

I don't know why Windsor was free last week, I don't know of any new competition.

Maybe it was just to encourage people to start coming again after the xmas break.

How many there last night 300/400 + ? Told you there would be more ladies (It was free)

In future I will follow directions on internet and not try a short cut (Its all one way and bus lanes !)

Great night and I think the venue is fine

I had a fab night too, I think there was almost 300 in the end but loads of ladies over in the class - the fairer sex are obviously more keen on a bargain than the men!! :D

Great to get back into the swing of things at Uxbridge, the crowd there are great and I think the new venue will be just as good as the old, if not better!

Have a good weekend everyone, anyone going to Amir's T-Dance on Sunday?

It's Uxbridge freestyle party night this Saturday, who else is going? The floor does seem to have improved - I found it heaps easier to dance on last Thursday, even with a dodgy foot! I have also heard that it is now official that the floor is going to be treated and Helen and the venue manager are investing in a buffing machine to maintain the floor to peak condition.

So hope to see some southern forumites there.:flower:
