Well folks.....only a few hours of 2003 left, and I'm sure you are all looking forward to bringing in the new year at a party somewhere. So here's the words to Auld Lang Syne ......there are actually 5 verses, but only 2 are normally sung with the chorus after each verse......................................

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And auld lang syne

chorus

For auld lang syne my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne

And there's a hand my trusty fiere
And gie's a hand o' thine
And we'll tak a richt guid-willie waught
For auld lang syne

repeat chorus

So now you know the words, you can sing them without resorting to singing " for the sake of old lang zyne" at any point...
Have a very happy and prosperous new year everyone
Here's tae us
Wha's like us
Damn few, an' they're a' deid
