is big body movements........according to this article today:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/7987255/Big-body-movements-key-to-attracting-women-on-the-dance-floor.html

(done of course by 'researchers' in the University of Northumbria).

Windmills and spinning are in.......and it seems that left wrist and right knees are important.

And, according to the scientists, the best dancers were the healthiest (according to their blood).

(Note - this research focuses on, er, 'disco' (muggle) dancing study. Maybe there will be a follow up on partner type dancing.........).

I've merged these two threads together. - DavidY

Not sure, but I think we've had a few "Didn't we have this discussion before" discussions before now. Haven't we?

Didn't we have this discussion before? :confused:I'm sure there was another, different bit of research which probably said the same thing.

For now I'm confining myself to merging together the two threads started this morning on the subject...

It's like deja deja vu... all over again.

Ah, I remember where I've seen this before, it was here:
http://dancedrdance.com/Testosterone.aspx

From there:

High testosterone men make larger movements and their movements are more complexly coordinated than low testosterone men. High testosterone men express more energy in their movements and they take up more space on the dance floor.

And the thread I was thinking about was here (http://www.mjda.org/forum/showthread.php?t=680).

(Which you should have remembered seeing as you contributed to it! )

I wonder if that article fed into the most recent research?
