Problem with Facebook

Is anyone else having problems with Facebook at the moment or is it just me? I can't open any messages or send or post anything. It just keeps saying "oops there seems to be a problem. We'll get it fixed. Try later" but this has been going on for days now.

It was doing that with me on Tues evening but yesterday it was back to normal.

May just need a pc reboot?

Facebook is simply full of bugs, dont think a restart will help, do 10 mins of work and try again it'll probably be fine

They are changing the way applications work on facebook. Any day now (they first said end dec, now it's end of jan), the notifications will dissapear from the bottom of the screen and you will have a 'dashboard' appear in the top of the screen.

This will keep track and group notifications by Status (comments/wall posts/photos) and by your games/apps

A pain in the ass for us developers as they are not giving out too much info and change the API every day meaning we have to re-code sections all the time.

Wasting time on the forum is fine though? :lol: Obviously much more constructive use of my time.

I work for myself so I promise I'll dock my wages at the end of the month and take disiplinary action immediately eg cut my lunch break to a couple of hours at the most.

Thanks for all the comments from everyone. Looks like I'll just have to wait and see. Just annoying at the mo because I can see messages coming in on my email but I can't reply to anybody. They'll all think I'm ignoring them. :tears:

I was having trouble but have changed my internet home page to Google Chrome and it seems to have rectified and it is much better even provides spell check

Us developers have been given our first look at the new facebook Games and Apps dashboard that will be appearing soon on facebook.

This will replace notifications and also make it easier to find games and apps that you want and uninstall the ones you dont.
