If you could go on holiday with a figure from historical, which person would you choose, why did you choose them? and where would you go?

Have fun

Oh and my choice:

Sir William Burrell of museum fame (http://www.glasgowmuseums.com/venue/index.cfm?venueid=1) I just think that I would learn a lot, as he was part of the Scottish Enlightenment and must have been fascinated by everything...

I've been musing on where we would end up on holiday, but I think if it was allowed I would end up here: Not that it would be likely (http://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/about/overview.html) but it would definitely qualify on the fascinating front - for my eyes today, never mind 19th/20thC eyes!

oooh, I'd go on holiday with JFK, President of the US. I think Dallas is nice, but it can be a bit mild weather wise so I'd suggest we don't take the open top car.

Just remember to take a bullet proof vest for yourself in the time machine ;).... Might be an interesting twist to history if you took two!

Your original premise suggested either time travel or resurrection - I thought time travel seemed the most likely.

...and I think you mean bullet proof HAT, a vest would have done JFK no good :)
