I have a Mac iBook G4 model. A few years old. i have run out of space.
I have been learning to make films at a film studio but even the (very) new macs they have are unable to cope with the footage which I have on tape. It will be more convenient to just buy a hard drive and use my own Mac (the iBook).
I also have Garageband and am recording music but now cannot continue to do so because of the memory issues.
What is the cheapest compatible hard drive which I can get to record music and make film? I intend to use final cut express. I have been told to get any hard drive from PC world but will they work with my mac (??!)
