View Full Version : Say It In Two Words ????

Just A Thought!

If you were to describe Ceroc in two words, what would they be?

For example, I would describe the Cha Cha as Lively & Flirtatious.

"Modern Jive"

"Easy & Versatile" :)

what do you read it out loud as ? :)

what do you read it out loud as ? :)

I guess there is a reason, noone put "and" which is in fact a word...

It is a linking symbol, or in VB programming speak, a concatenation.

Maybe you could cut us plebs a bit of slack and understand we were only were trying to place 2 words together, with a kind of link...

They sort of look funny, without some kind of link :what:

Hey, I have just thought of 2 words to give you....
:rofl::rofl: :D

Real geeks would read it out loud as "ampersand" no? :D

OK, rather than "Easy & Versatile", how about "Easy" and "Versatile" ?

Or maybe "Easy & Versatile" ?

Wait! What about "Easy 0x0026 Versatile" ?

Oh sod this malarky! For me it's now "Vertical sex" :waycool:

If you asked me to describe a smurf in two words, it would be "short" and "blue". That's two words. The "and" doesn't count!

Ceroc – I agree with Martin – "social" and "fun"!

I would have thought that you couldn't describe a smurf in those two words....you'd need three words surely?; "short", "blue", and(&) "pedantic"

I never thought of myself as a geek, but I guess a degree in computing and teaching programming languages might project that image
For me it is an ampersand, that provides concatenation in programmes.

Oh sod this malarky! For me it's now "Vertical sex" :waycool:

maybe "Fore Play"

Ceroc – I agree with Martin – "social" and "fun"!

or is that "Social" & "fun":rofl:

Since MJ joins partners "Musical concatenation" might be a contender.

...They sort of look funny, without some kind of link :what:...they may look funnier still merged as in "socialfun" but it would be memorable, and, more importantly, for search engines they would be a better tag.

... maybe "Fore Play" ...Way back a forumite :worthy: suggested "Floor play".

Hang on a cottonpickingminute there, Smurfster! :naughty: In the very first post, amadancer requested:

For example, I would describe the Cha Cha as Lively & Flirtatious.

See the request? See the example?

Surely, as a geek, you would've read the first post & then EITHER noticed the example & used the format given for the reply, OR promptly vanished into a puff of logic and read no further of our nonsense. :na:

Well! Em! I am genuinely interested in answers to the question I asked.

So. . . to clarify . .

Think this is (legal speak) a case of "joint and several"- each would in it's own right describes the dance style but so do both together.

So if we take Gojive's answer Ceroc is Easy
& Ceroc is Versatile

Can't disagree with that .......but doesn't describe the FUN element. . .does it?

In two words - "your dance".

What ? I'm not allowed to inject chaos into a perfectly good thread ? Since when ? :)

Anyway, can I point you to bigdjivers post where he introduced a contraction - "Its fundanstic". TWO WORDS is it ?... bah.
