My favourite teaching couple is Phil and Wendy from Steps in Time Warrington closely followed by Tony and Sarah of Hot Roc Jive Sandbach. I also greatly admire Maja and Sungy.

For MJ - Paula @ Chester is probably (IMHO) the pick of the bunch.

For yesteryear Sue Tayor was pretty good but don't think she teaches up here anymore. Paul F also had a pretty good rep when he used to teach at Ceroc Hyde.

Demos - more to pick.
Maria @ Chester and Gemma (ex of Blitz Bowden and Stockport) was awesome.
Georgie @ Motram/Stockport is also very good to watch.

Yes Gus you were a legend when you taught at Nantwich too. But I agree Chris Taylor is very good and has really brought on West Coast in the North West

:yeah: Tony's enthusiasm and charisma put him right up there for me. How he can smile consistently throughout a lesson and avoid seeming horribly cheesy is very impressive. I think it might have been Phil who first taught me the travelling return into mambo/manhattens which changed my dancing forever so :respect:for that...

Phil and Wendy are just fabulous, they did a caberet at my birthday party and included me. I love the way they dance together and their teaching, so unpretentious and just lovely people and I am so lucky to call them great friends of mine. Maya and Sungy I could watch all night just for the sheer pleasure and to pick up some tips from their amazing styles:respect:

All three are great teachers and there is nothing 'only' about Chris he is such a good leader and a great MJ'er:respect:

Paula just points you in the right direction EVERY time with your dancing, she is awesome.

I have very fond memories of PaulF during his teaching time at Hyde, I recall seeing Paul dancing at a freestyle at Stockport Town Hall some years ago, and then having the most delicious dances with him and then pointing him out to my friends saying 'you have got to dance with this man he is just fabulous'.

Phil is just fantastic to dance with also. Nice to have you back in the UK Dan, you are such a fabulous dancer ,and please let me know if you are going to tango or Northwich anytime as it always a great pleasure to dance with you.

You know Soft Cell, Marc Almond came originally from Southport and released a song RUBY RED a rather nice combination me thinks!!!!

I would like to add the fabulous, sexy and innovative Keith Davies who runs Revolution Dance, total respect for this guy and also George Moss, George taught me how to dance the blues. Love ya both my dear and lovely mates, and have so enjoyed the journey through my dancing life with you guys. Total :respect: for you.

Me too :clap:. He's a god and occasionally I can dance with him now without being completely over-awed :awe:

Not always a popular choice, but if you're playing really fast tracks then I could dance with Kevin Hardy all night - although if they were fast I'd be puffed after 3 tracks so wouldn't last all night :grin::confused:
