How does one delete one's own post?

How do I see who has placed a reputation point? or why it was placed?

You can only delete your posts if you're a silver member, I believe.

You can see who has given you rep by going to the orange bar near the top of the screen and click User CP. It depends if they leave their name though.

On most areas of the forum, you have (I think) 5 minutes to delete a post (via the "edit" button) after you post it. (You may need to be a silver member - not sure.) If you still have a good reason to delete a post after that, you can "report" the post and a moderator will probably delete it for you. (It depends on the content and reason.)

You get to see who has sent you rep by becoming a silver member – see the "Quick News" box at the top of the page. As for why it was given, if it's not obvious, and the message doesn't tell you, you could ask the person who gave you it.

as a bronze member, it looks like I can do neither.
I can see a summary of recent reps but little detail.

It would help if the repper added a name unless they wish to remain anonymous.

Sometimes I forget to add my name after the rep message.

I realise after I've clicked the mouse, but it's too late.

Is there a way of adding your name afterwards?

No but there's nothing stopping you sending an accompanying PM after. :)
