A group of people went to the Rivoli on Friday to be dancing extras in an Eastenders spin-off type thingy set in 1959 - here are some of the pics I took..sadly no dancing ones, but just look at what a lovely venue it is..they'd done nothing to it, it looks like that normally!

 Emma! Wow! They're great!
Hasn't the lighting they set up for the TV cameras shown the place to best advantage?!

I LOVE the group shot!
I had no idea you took the photo of me! Sneaky gal!

My Mum just saw the photos too (I'm in Aus right now) and was really thrilled.

Thanks so much for putting them up!! :D :D :D I'll link to them from my personal home page. Or would you mind if I copy them there? I can ackowledge you as the source ;)

Hi Debs :)

I had no idea you took the photo of me! Sneaky gal!Hee hee hee..do you know the Degas scultpure 'The Little Dancer'? If I have remembered it rightly you are stanging in the exact same position - how can a girl resist a shot like that?!

Please feel free to copy them on your homepage - no problem. I'm glad you liked them! I have a few more (mostly the same sort of stuff but also some of outside by the 'dining bus') let me know if you'd like copies of those too :nice:

Hey, yeah! Now that you mention it, it is very much a pose like that sculpture! Ha! How funny?!!
:nice:

I'd love to see some pics from outside the bus too... and we need a better one of the scary wig

Best wishes,
D ;)

Well, I didn't see it over Christmas (phew! I didn't have the video set up!) so I'm hoping I didn't somehow miss it.

It's not looking good for Jan 1 either, they are having an Eastenders special but it's not our episode. There is one on at 8 as usual then a special at 8.30.

This is from the BBCi programme for Jan 1:
8:30 pm
EastEnders: Alfie's Story
A profile of one of Walford's best loved residents, Alfie Moon. The programme goes behind the scenes with cast interviews and follows Shane Richie back to his Harlesden roots.

Cheers ;)

Saw something about an Eastenders special of some sort on 1 April. Could this be it?
