Hi,

I know that some of you will be attending Amir's workshop when he visits Edinburgh soon, so I thought that I would report back on his workshop that Lisa, Brady, Nikki and myself attended in London at the weekend.

It was very good. If you haven't booked yet and there are spaces left then I would grab them.

Lots of ideas and lots of new moves, or at least variations on moves. Learned loads and have some cool ideas to develop and take to Las Palmas with me. Both Amir and Kate are wonderful dancers and I was particularily impressed with his teaching.

Lisa and I couldn't resist to grab him for a dance at the end before we headed back to Heathrow. Not sure about Lisa but I just went to pieces, talk about 2 left feet, however enjoyed every moment of it.

Also met a woman who is booked for Las Palmas, so looking forward to seeing her again.

Was actually dreaming about the ceroc holiday in bed last night.
Only about 6 weeks to go and there is an estimated 100 people going! PARTY ON!!!!!!!

Thank you Amir and Kate and hope to see you again!

Lotsa love Lorna x-x

I agree with all that Lorna said about Amir and Kate's workshops. So much so I'm hoping to clear my diary and make it down to Edinburgh in Nov. Many thanks for that dance Amir. My left knee was shaking with nerves at one point but thankfully your smile soon put me at ease!

I must agree with Lorna as well; another fantastic workshop with Amir & Kate!!! This was the second workshop of his that I've been on along with some classes at a couple weekenders and all have been fantastic!

Just as Lorna said, several new flash moves and some nice new variations on some of the older moves that we all already use. If you haven't done so already, be sure to get yourself booked onto his workshop in Edinburgh on the 8th November. For more details, either check out the other thread about the event or visit Boogie Nights (http://www.boogienights.net).

Yep. Another great workshop. I always come away having learnt loads (this was my 3rd). Still too scared to ask Amir to dance. Also too scared to ask Brady!! Gutted I missed Walthamstow, but will order video. Brady, you and your partners looked great dancing at the workshop. (Was also too shy to ask at BB as well - hmmph).

Lorna, looking forward to trying your classes at Las Palmas - especially with Amir's influences.

Thanks again to Amir & Kate - another triumph. Keep 'em coming.

Mary, as I'm not exactly sure who you are :what: , please introduce yourself next time. And don't worry, I don't bite; I would love to have a dance!!!! :nice: Dancing with Lorna and Lisa always is always an honor and trust me, it's them that makes us look good when dancing together!!!! :yum: The other partner (Nicky) is still in the learning stages, but coming along quickly.

Will you be at Hipsters next week? I'm going to try and make Amir's tea dance on Sunday and will for sure be at Hipsters on Tuesday and maybe Wed. Hope to see you there and get a dance!

Yes, must agree with regards to Amir's style and stuff, he gives Nigel & Viktor a run for their money- very different styles.

Thanks for the info guys. Me and James are cutting our break in the midlands short to get to Amirs workshop and we're all booked up. To be honest i haven't seen Amir dancing very much.....just the few snippets on the blackpool video, but with everything said on here i'm sure it'll be a fab workshop.

watch this space for me joining in the gushing and cooing on the 9th

If you haven't booked the workshop in Edinburgh for next month, what are you waiting for???!!!! I was at Amir's tea dance on Sunday with a master class by Amir & Kate, which consisted of a couple of their smoooooooooth tango inspired moves; they were brilliant and once again, very well taught. His class last night at Hipsters with Tas was just as good with some fantastic original choreographed moves!!!! He's certainly one not to miss!!!!!

Sorry, but I'm just a beginner and my moves are pretty limited. However, I'm sure you'll find some other bitch though, that would be only too happy to oblige.

 such language from one so pure

all you have to do is bend over, even a beginner like Tramp could manage that (I know, I've been there)

Well if we could leave out the innuendo's for a mo, I could say that there is the odd one or two that I would bend over backwards for - but you ain't one of them.
