Right, I need everybodies help.

Me and FC are coming to the sunny midlands on the first week in November from the 1st to the 7th and want to know where we can strut our funky stuff.

We've been down before and only went to Wythall and Solihull so would like to give some other venues a try. Having said that Wythall was very good and Melanie said that the teacher their, (I think his name is Andy), was an excellent dancer.

So, if you know of anywhere then please let us know. We'll be staying in Lichfield in Staffordshire and are willing to travel a bit!!!

Thanks everyone.

James..xx

Hi James,

For a fairly comprehensive list of classes, ranging widely across the Midlands, try ModernJive.com (http://www.modernjive.com/) and look at the weekly classlisting page - the most recent at this moment is Weekly Classes at at 17 Sept (http://www.modernjive.com/cejc-september-17-2003.htm). However do check before travelling - for example I've heard rumours that one of the Ceroc classes is now defunct, but it's still listed on this website.

In my opinion, I think Nottingham on a Monday night is a very good night with lots of good dancers tunring up there at the moment. When I can, I also go to Northampton on a Tuesday which is also very good - Emma who usually teaches there is excellent, although I agree with FC that Andy at Wythall on the same night is good as well . However you would probably need to travel up to an hour to get to Northampton and 3/4 of an hour for Nottingham.

Hope to see you & FC somewhere that week... (Not 100% sure who you are though - were you at Glasgow at Franck's party on Sat 13th, and also at Dundee on Monday 15th??).
