thanks so much everybody! :flower:
I 've just got back from a fab weekend in Paris - our first holiday without children since our honeymoon 25 years ago:yum:
We did get to dance ,at le Caveau de la Huchette near Notre Dame, which we absolutely loved. It was very jazz/lindy-ish(unfortunately my Lindy is non-existent) , but we've always loved live swing bands and both nights they were GREAT!.We made friends with the french dancers (well, Susan did- they weren't so interested in me...!) So thanks to those who recommended it.We also intended to go to Club Zed, but it was only on saturday which we didn't realise until it was too late.
All in all a landmark celebration and very memorable,in spite of the Metro strike!
So a big thank you to my missus,Susan,:awe:for persuading me to do it,and to my daughter Aimee for looking after the twiins(I did miss them ,though)
