Oops! I forgot to shut down my powerbook before going to Blaze. Now I'm back, the battery seems to refuse to charge up - as soon as I turn off the mains it switches off and there's an x in the battery icon.
Any suggestions on how to make it behave?

You are mistaken.
Apple Macs do NOT crash or go wrong..... ever! :whistle:

I dont trust laptops in general to be fair
Ill stick to my p4 3.61, 2gigDDR ram, 2000gig drives, GeForce 8800 GTX...
Good things clearly come in big packages

Hmmm... Maybe try a power manager reset (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449)?
