Calling all dance-a-holics.
Another fundraising dance is coming your way very soon, on
Friday 26th September. The venue is at Gartcosh Social Club,
on the outskirts of Glasgow. (Only a few minutes from J8 on the
M8 Glasgow motorway.)
The fundraising is part of my “Ultimate Challenge” 12 day trek
to the Himalayas - in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The smoother than guinness Brady will be doing a fun class from
8.30pm, then afterwards you can strut your stuff with BTFC DD
on the turntables till 1am.
Once again I have arranged for some of your favourite dancers
to come along and dance with you all, but since this is for a very
worthwhile cause, you will have to pay £1 for the privilege.

Tickets for the event are a mere £6 and are now on sale.
£1 tickets for the dancers can be purchased at the door.

Please send a pm for tickets and any more info.

See map below or go to www.streetmap.co.uk and
search for Eastgate, Gartcosh.

I'll be there TT!!!

Please can the cream be kept under lock and key and only released to RESPECTABLE, TRUSTWORTHY dancers this time:rofl:

Or alternatively if it has to go to CJ he has to PAY for the privilege??

well if this leading line doesn't tempt cj into one of his innuendo laden responses, nothing will
he has been awfully quiet lately, something to do with the day job apparently

I dunno...

A poor guy gets a day job and look what happens!!

I would just like to make it clear that my days of paying to cream women are well and truly over. (at least until I get a pay rise.)

I've missed you guys, but things are settling down now: The day job is flexi but a couple of holidays/ roadtrips with the band mean I have to give back the time:tears:

mmm .... "an hour glass pole" ..... interesting :nice: ......

.... Aleks, can you not just be a pole for all the men, then my fundraising target could easily be reached on Friday !!!:D :D

And DS, you are too modest, but if it's all the same, I'll happily take your £1. (For the charity pot of course.)

Hi Guys,

after all of the rave reviews after the last party I was thinking of trying to make it along to this one....

...BUT...

....I live in Anniesland (Glasgow) - I don't suppose there's anyone going from that area or the west end that I could cadge a lift with, is there?

If you could help a damsel in distress then please send me a PM.

Many thanks!

Well...finally surfaced at around 1pm today after a fitful sleep having taken a leaf out of Francks book and downed a couple of cans of Red Bull(tm) to keep me awake for the drive home.....via Mr & Mrs Scathes house for coffee(More caffiene).....was absolutely knackered when I got home...and then couldn't sleep coz I had wings
Any way, had a great time spinning the discs for TT to a smallish but very select crowd.......Well done to all the "cheap for one night " dancers, and to everyone who paid to dance with them.
Those who said that they would come, then didn't......SHAME ON YOU.........you missed a good night, and the chance to boost the cancer research funds ... Trampie & jive Brummie....your dance was sensational......you should have danced in the Jive Masters together...you might have won:wink: :D
Finally good luck on the Himalayan trek TT.....hope it's an experience to remember

A BIG THANK YOU to all the folks who came along to the dance on Friday and made the event another fundraising success. Between us we raised another £603, not bad for a nights enjoyment.

Hugs and kisses to the fundraising dancers who sold themselves all night for £1 a dance, (That’s 99p more than Franck normally gets !) to Franck and his sexy demo Sheena for taking the class, and to the ever decreasing in size Dance Demon, who once again played a whole load of “stompin” music, keeping the dance floor busy to the wee small hours.

Your support is very much appreciated.
