Against my better instincts, I've been given a shiny new Vista machine at work.

And suddenly, the simplest of tasks, which I could carry out with no problems in XP (well - 99.5% of the time, and the other 0.5%, the solution was just a reboot away), become hair-tearingly annoyingly difficult. Maybe I'm getting too old and inflexible.

Anyway. Anyone who has some experience with Vista - do you have an opinion on whether it's worth a) perservering, because when I get used to it, I'll love it, or b) wiping the stupid thing, and going back to XP?

like any case of runny poo...wiping is by far the best solution ;)

Give it a few weeks and you will wonder how you got by with XP.

Many people said the same with XP, takes to long to do stuff etc.

You just need to learn it over again. You are going to have to use vista at some point. Better to do it now than wait until you are forced to use it then struggle.

I thought it was awkward at first but now im used to it, it's great.
