Help please.

Although the Sync function works well for "Music - Sync all Songs and playlists" for copying stuff from my I tunes library to the Ipod ......

the same does not apply to "Movies - Sync All movies".

The "Movies" in my Itunes library consist of some 200 short clips - mostly
Utube clips converted to MP4 format.
They transfer ok but whenever i reconnect my Ipod back to the PC, the Ipod program will either
1) show the Music tab and not the Movies tab (pretending that my ipod does not hold any movies) or
2) proceed to wipe off all the movies on the Ipod and then display the Movies tab with "Movies - Sync All Movies now unticked!!) as if some gremlin is unticking that box.

Is this a normal feature of Ipod?

Why can I not "Hold" the "movies" on the Ipod and add/edit by sync to the Itunes Library?

Can you help please?

You're doing better than me - I can't even get them to load in the first place, even though they work fine in iTunes

Yliander, how are you converting your clips?

I use Moyea - Video to Ipod converter, this is a cheap software program that I bought for £15 over the web. It converts all video formats into others including MP4s (with standard Ipod Settings). All my clips have converted very well and fit Itunes and Ipod perfectly. Sound is defaulted as per original clip, but you have the option to vary change sound and brightness on the conversion as well as top and tailing the clip.

plays fine on itunes but on ipod - no sound

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before, so apologies for asking again  I've managed to get all my music & photo's onto my Ipod but for some reason it doesn't carry over any movie files that I've taken on my camera.

Is this just because I can't or do I need to do something to the file format for Ipod to recognise them?

So for sounding so thick, just not good with gadgets!
